Impact investment has evolved from a novel investing concept into a mainstream investment approach that spans alternative and traditional asset classes. With a sophisticated investment ecosystem and AUM of over USD 228 billion as estimated by the Global Impact Investing Network. Across Africa, there is a growing support from regulators, asset owners, fund managers and portfolio companies to make positive contributions to society whilst delivering financial returns. This calls for optimism amid the confusion and misperception hindering scaling up impact capital.

Themed achieving impact without compromising financial returns, this Immersion brings together drivers of impact projects, providers of impact capital, managers of impact capital and enablers of impact to explore new approaches to inspire, educate and identify ways of scaling up impact capital.


Terms & Conditions

Fee Terms: The Programme fee includes all forum materials and refreshments. The fee does not include accommodation. Hotel rooms must be reserved directly by the delegate. We can book accommodation for you and bill it alongside your programme fee. Registrations are confirmed on receipt of full payment of the programme fee, and places are allocated in order of receipt of payment.

The delegate is responsible for all travel-related arrangements and costs, including but not exclusive to hotel, airfare and visas. African Alternative is not responsible for any travel-related costs and any resulting fees due to the cancellation of attendance, changes in travel schedule or the cancellation/rescheduling of events, including but not exclusive to travel disruption due to illness, weather and rejection of visa application. Please review the registration cancellation policy.

Registrations are transferable until 72 hours prior to the event. The final registration is only for the individual named in the registration and cannot be shared with or transferred across multiple participants. Cancellations can only be accepted if received in writing. On receipt of cancellations letter, a 12-months valid credit note will be issued against the paid fees.

We cannot be held liable for any costs or expenses of any nature (such as, but not limited to, hotel and transportation costs and expenses) incurred in connection with the conference by a participant who is prevented for any reason (such as, but not limited to, the unavailability of transportation) from attending the conference. We recommend that participants take out a travel insurance policy to cover any such eventualities as well as covering the potential loss of or damage to personal possessions.

By registering for this programme, you agree that all pictures taken at the above-mentioned conference are our property and can be used for future marketing or promotional purposes and that your first name, last name, company and job position will be included in materials relating to the event, including as part of the attendees list that will be shared with fellow delegates.
